Chemical protective suits are personal protective equipment that enable the wearer to work in chemically or microbiologically contaminated environments without adverse health effects.

Each chemical protective suit is designed for a specific use, as resistance to all conceivable substances and materials from the environment is not possible. Depending on the type of use, there are 6 types for chemical protective suits, which differ in terms of their protective effect from gas-tight to limited tightness against liquids.

We check for you whether non-reusable, limited-use or reusable protective clothing against chemicals for use as personal protective equipment (PPE) meets the specifications of the European standard DIN EN 14325 as well as the type-specific requirements.

Testing and certification of protective clothing against chemicals

As an accredited laboratory and notified body (No. 0555), we test and certify chemical protective suits and issue EU type examination certificates for CE marking of your PPE in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425.
